White Dudes can dance
:
This is an old clip, but still worthy of a hearty bellylaugh. This trombone player got up on stage on the Steve Harvey show, and busted out some choice moves. I don't know whether I should recoil in horror or laugh and get on up. Tear the roof off the sucka!
After the initial shock of seeing a strange, skinny guy bustin' out like that, the crowd gets into it, and Steve Harvey looks like he wants to get in there and mix it up.
I found this forum post on eBaumsWorld, back in 2004, with people complaining it was an old clip. When was this first posted?
Not everyone thinks it's that funny:
It's funny because he is a white person, and he is dancing on a black person show. Since we all know that black people are better at dancing, the comic value of this stunt goes without saying.
I disagree; I think that performance would draw crowds anywhere: on Letterman, on the street, in a church, in an operating room. If there's one thing that brings people together, it's howling in laughter at someone dancing like they're dancing to keep the universe together.
