Out with MTV Flash - In With HTML

: Bloated flash sites suck, at least some provide an alternative.
I regularly visit MTV.com to get news content for another site but am constantly at odds with the bloated flash interface they implemented a few months ago. It really put a dent in publishing time when I had to quote from that site.

But today I found something great. While looking at the bottom right corner of the flash driven site, I see a little button that says 'HTML SITE'. What's this...?

mtv flash sucks



Click it and the site reloads as standard HTML. I am saved! Each following link you hit will keep this setting, doing away with the horrible flash.

MTV.com is particularly bad as well, because each page loads a video; the scrollbar is flash - with frames - and you can't Control C text.

It's not even very fancy, which makes it worse. Not a lot that can't be done in HTML anyway.
