The Professor used coconuts to make a jungle telephone, if I remember correctly - though it still didn't help him get off the island... he was probably afraid to go back to society and have to do mundane research again, instead of frolicking with Ginger and Mary-Ann.
I don't know if this Dutch judo master knows anything about coconuts, but he seems to have forgotten that they're damn hard. He tries to judo chop 100 coconuts in one minute and it's a spectacular fail:
He probably practised with coconut macaroons...
