Killer Whales found hunting dolphins

:
Killer Whale hunting dolphin
Tourists love going to SeaWorld and watching the killer whales perform their 'neat' tricks. The trainers ride them like horses, they kick balls around and they perform flips for fish.

We love dophins, too. They do much the same thing, except they're smaller and less killer-looking.

To us, dolphins and killer whales are fun loving animals that frolick together in the relentless waves of the deep blue sea.

The truth, though, is a lot crueler than you might think: it turns out that killer whales hunt dolphins for food, separating one from the pack, then battering it around until it dies.

For the first time, this hunt was recorded by a South African tour operator, who saw the activity in Port Elizabeth;

"Ranier Schimpf was leading a group of divers when they noticed that one dolphin had been separated from a pod by five of the killer whales then repeatedly rammed. The dolphin was sent flying through the air by the force of impact from whales that were several times its size. With the smaller creature finally left laying unconscious on the surface, the whales pulled it below"

Then, in a move that might confuse those of us with survival instincts, divers from the boat decided to get in the water with the killer whales, who, let us remind ourselves, just gorged themselves on mammalian flesh.

Charles Fuller trying to cash fake cheque
When I was a kid, I once tried to make fake money. With green crayons.
